For Lukas Tulovic, however, the unsuccessful start to the weekend also made itself felt in qualifying. Dirk Geiger, on the other hand, also made good impressions on the second day of practice at his debut in the World Championship.

On Saturday, Lukas Tulovic and his Moto2™ crew in Kiefer Racing had some work to do at their home round. During the timed session for the starting positions, it was only after a pit stop to move in the desired direction for the 19-year-old talent from Eberbach.

On the other side of the box, Dirk Geiger again collected many impressions and experiences. His second day also started very promising, when the talented rider from Mannheim loosely found more than two tenths of a second from his yesterday's record during this morning’s FP3.

#3 Lukas TULOVIC (Kiefer Racing, KTM Moto2), Grid position 28th - 1´25.233 (3/10):

"Honestly, I had imagined this weekend to be a little bit different. It started yesterday with a little mishap when I had this stupid fall in FP1. This and other little problems also dragged on over the second day. Then there was some bad luck and a lack of feeling on my part. But during qualifying we found little things to make the bike more easy to ride for me. Anyway, I felt more comfortable. Unfortunately, there were difficulties in Q1 as well, which is why I had to go back into the pits right after the first lap. For the race, I've decided not to let the riders ahead of me to slip away. I'm going to claw myself tight and then see to that I move forward as far as possible."

#28 Dirk GEIGER (Kiefer Racing, KTM Moto3), Grid position 26th - 1´38.462 (3/9):

"I think, we can be satisfied with the first qualifying session at our World Championship debut. We've improved with every session before. Unfortunately, I didn't make it into 1´28. That would secretly have been my objective for today. But I'm also so happy with what we’ve achieved so far. I feel quite comfortable with the KTM now and I'm constantly learning. In addition, my crew is doing an excellent job. They support me in every respect. That gives me a lot of confidence. All in all, the second day was very enjoyable too. From this point of view, I can’t wait for my debut race in World Championship."
